C.A.D PROJECTS & PROGRESSION
Over the summer of 2018 I engaged in an internship with the London/Essex based fit-out firm Brown & Carroll. During this placement I greatly expanded my knowledge and ability within many areas of Computer Aided Design. Thus during this period, most of my time in and out of office hours was spent developing my skills on various CAD programs, particularly Inventor (Autodesk) and AutoCad. This page displays a selection of my personal work from this period.
After this placement I continued to develop my CAD skills, using the facilities available within my university to test my designs on 3D printers, Laser Cutters and CNC machines. This allowed me to better understand not only how to use a variety of softwares but also how to translate these into physical, functional objects.
